Day 1

FROM TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN

Our driver will be waiting for you at the meeting point to start our trip to the blue city of Chefchaouen. We will go into the Riff Mountains to find a "real gem"... This city, famous for its blue and white streets, served as a shelter for Muslims and Sephardim expelled from the Iberian Peninsula. The entrance to Chefchaouen was forbidden until the arrival of the Spanish people.

Once there, we can visit the Great Mosque, which has an octagonal minaret; the Uta el-Hammam Square and the Kasbah, where Abd el Krim was a prisoner and where we can also visit its quiet Andalusian garden, the museum and the art gallery.

We will be able to walk through its streets, its craft stalls, drink a delicious mint tea in its characteristic cafes, and we still have time enough we will go out the area round of the city to see the Ras El-Maa falls, with views of the natural park before returning to Tangier in the afternoon.
