3 Days Tour

Departure from the hotel/riad at 8 am. We’ll have an 8 hours trip to Merzouga. Crossing the Atlas Mountains, we’ll stop in Ifrane (“the Moroccan Switzerland”) and in Azrou famous for its cedar woods and the Barbary macaques who lives in there. We’ll have lunch in Midelt and we’ll continue our road through the Valley of Ziz with a beautiful view of the palm trees until we arrive to Merzouga where we’ll do a camel trek to reach the desert camp and to spend the night in a Berber tent. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber nomad tent.

After breakfast, we’ll leave the “Erg Chebbi” desert to get into an off-road path through the Hamada (black Desert) until the arrival in Rissani, famous for its donkey market. Afterwards, we’ll head north to Erfoud, known for its fossils. We can stop to visit the fossil workshop before we continue towards the impressive Gorges of Todra, a paradise for climbers, where we’ll take a walk before we drive to the Valley of Dades where we’ll spend the night. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

After breakfast, we’ll visit Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Cinema Studios. We’ll continue until arrive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where we’ll have lunch. This famous kasbah was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. After lunch we’ll continue our road through the High Atlas Mountains stopping to see the wonderful view of the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, about 2,260 meters high (7,414 ft.) from the ground. We’ll pass through small Berber villages and waterfalls, until we reach the Marrakech in the afternoon.
