Day 1

CASABLANCA

Arrival at the airport. Your local tour guide will meet you and then escort you to your hotel (depending on time of arrival). Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 2

CASABLANCA – RABAT

After breakfast, you’ll have a city tour in Casablanca, the largest city of Morocco. It’s the heart of commerce and industry. You’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, built in the water alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Later on, you’ll depart to Rabat. We’ll stop for lunch, and then we’ll have a sightseeing tour to see the administrative capital of Morocco. You’ll visit the Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque initiated by The Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour. You may also visit the “Kasbah des Oudaias”, with white houses and blue parapets, located near to the Atlantic coast. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 3

RABAT – MEKNÈS – VOLUBILIS – FEZ

After breakfast, we’ll travel to Meknès. This city is the third Imperial City of Morocco with a very famous door known as “the Versailles of Morocco”. You’ll explore Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful gateways. Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. You’ll have time for lunch and the we’ll visit the old and new medina. Later on, you’ll visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun which is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterwards, you’ll discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Finally we’ll drive to Fez. When will be back, we’ll enjoy an evening with a traditional Moroccan dinner. Overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 4

VISITING FEZ

Visit tour to explore the real city of Fez. You’ll spend your day exploring the Royal the medieval medina (the old city) with ramparts and narrow streets that were declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1981. You’ll see the Marinid or Merenid Tombs from the 16th century, the Bouanania and the Attarine Medersas constructed in the early 14th century by the Marinid dynasty, the Karaouine Mosque —an old educational centre of Islamic culture— and the Nejjarine Marble Fountain. We’ll take a break for lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant. Continuing on your visit, you will see the decorated gate of Bab Boujeloud, the medieval tanneries and the Royal Palace. Then we’ll visit the souks (the local markets) where merchants and craftsmen sell their hand-made jewellery, leather goods, copperware and pottery. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 5

FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – BENI MELLAL – CASCADAS DE OUZOUD – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, departure from Fez to Marrakech (“the Pearl of the South”) through the Middle Atlas via Ifran, Azrou and Beni Mellal. In Ifran, also known as “the Moroccan Switzerland”, you’ll see the stone lion before we continue on our drive to Azrou. Later on, you’ll have the chance to see the old tree —which is about 800 years old— named “Cedre Gouraud”) so we can meet the monkeys in the cedar forest. From here we’ll cross Azrou, a Berber town known for its green tiled roofs. We’ll reach Beni Mellal where you’ll enjoy your lunch. The next tour will be the stunning waterfalls of Ouzoud, before arriving in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 6

VISITING MARRAKECH

Visit tour in Marrakech, the Southern Imperial City. You’ll visit the Mosque of Koutoubia and you’ll be able to admire its tower, the Majorelle Garden —a botanical garden full of different exotic plants— the Saadian Tombs of the 16th century —all decorated in colourful mosaic tiles— Bahia Palace of the 19th century with its beautiful eastern architecture. You’ll take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore the fascinating souks and the narrow alleys around the Djemâa El-Fna Square. In the evening, you’ll be enchanted by snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, narrators and story-tellers —moving from one group to another. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 7

MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA

After breakfast, we’ll leave Marrakech “the Red City” towards Essaouira. We’ll have a tour to visit an Argan factory ran by women and we’ll learn about the process of the Argan oil. We’ll explore the port of Essaouira and we’ll enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in the medina. In the afternoon you’ll have free time to enjoy the city —or you can swim and relax on the beach. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 8

ESSAOUIRA – SAFI – OUALIDIA – EL JADIDA – CASABLANCA

That day we’ll leave Essaouira towards Casablanca “the commercial centre of Morocco” via the coastal road while admiring the views. We’ll pass by Safi then to Oualida where you will enjoy some delicious seafood in this wonderful place. After lunch, we’ll continue to Casablanca passing by El Jadida —which was known as Mazagan. This old medina was established in 1513 by the Portuguese. Arrival in Casablanca early in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel.

Day 9

CASABLANCA

After having breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport depending on your flight departure time.
