1 Day Trip

As you may already know, Marrakech is one of the oldest imperial cities founded in the 11th century by King Youssef Ibn Tachafine, emperor of the Berber Almoravid dynasty. The empire was expanding at that time from Spain to Senegal, and Marrakech was the crossroads of the ancient caravan routes of Timbuktu making it the number one destination for tradings and a relief for the South Saharan merchants tired of carrying gold, salt and slaves bound for Europe.

In our «One Day Tour», a guide will be waiting for you to start the visit of the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and will take you through the winding streets of the medina to visit the famous Madrassa, the Kotoubia Minaret, one oldest libraries of morocco and the Bahia Palace. Our driver will pick you up at the agreed point to take you to the Majorel Gardens, a beautiful building and home of Yves Saint Laurent. You can indoors the exhibition of Berber art where we can have lunch. After lunch, we’ll continue visiting the Saadian Tombs. We’ll return to the Jemaa el Fna Square, the scene of countless outdoor activities where jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers and jugglers will come to entertain the evening and awaken all your senses with its many sounds, smells, flavors and colors that characterize it.
