After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech early in the morning and begin our journey towards the south of Morocco. We will cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of 2,260 metres. Along the way, we will make several stops to admire the panoramic mountain views and discover traditional Berber villages.

We will then arrive at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most impressive fortified villages. You will have time to explore the kasbah and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Our journey will take us through the palm groves of Skoura, the Valley of Roses and Kelaa M’Gouna before arriving in the beautiful Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will leave the Dades Valley and travel towards Tinghir, passing through beautiful landscapes, traditional Berber villages and palm groves. We will arrive at the spectacular Todra Gorges, where you will have free time to walk between the impressive rock walls and enjoy the natural scenery. These cliffs reach heights of more than 300 metres and are among the most famous natural attractions in southern Morocco.

We will continue through Tinjdad and Touroug, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Afterwards, we will travel to Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and marble workshops. If you wish, you can visit one of the local fossil workshops.

In the afternoon, we will continue towards Merzouga and the magnificent golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, you will have time to admire the sunset and enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel near the dunes.

After breakfast, we will begin a 4×4 excursion around the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi. During the tour, we will discover the desert landscapes, visit the seasonal lake of Merzouga, explore the old Mifis mines and meet nomadic families who live in the surrounding desert. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about their traditions and way of life.

We will then continue to Khamlia, a village famous for its Gnawa music and culture. Here, you will enjoy a traditional musical performance before returning to Merzouga. You will have free time for lunch and to relax at the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will ride dromedaries across the golden dunes to admire a magnificent Sahara sunset. We will then arrive at the desert camp, where you will enjoy dinner, traditional music around the fire and a magical night beneath the stars. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tent.

Early in the morning, you can wake up to admire the beautiful sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After this unforgettable moment, we will return from the desert camp by dromedary or 4×4 vehicle. You will have time for breakfast and to prepare for the next stage of the journey.

We will leave Merzouga and travel towards Rissani, an ancient caravan town famous for its traditional market and the large palm grove of Tafilalet. Depending on the day, we may stop to visit the local market before continuing through the towns of Alnif and Tazarine. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the way.

In the afternoon, we will pass through N’Kob and travel along the beautiful Draa Valley, known for its extensive palm groves, ancient kasbahs and traditional Berber villages. We will then cross Agdz and the Anti-Atlas Mountains before arriving in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and travel to the beautiful Fint Oasis, a peaceful green valley surrounded by rocky mountains and desert landscapes. The oasis is formed by several traditional villages where the local inhabitants continue to preserve their authentic way of life. You will have time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs and walk through this quiet natural setting.

We will then return towards Ouarzazate and continue to the historic Kasbah of Tifoultoute, located on the ancient caravan route. After the visit, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains once again through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.

Along the way, we will make several stops to admire the panoramic views, take photographs and have lunch at a local restaurant. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel or riad, marking the end of our 5-day Morocco desert tour.
