4 Days Tour

Starting the first day of this tour, we’ll go to the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. The departure will be from the hotel at 8 am. Our day tour will last 8 hours; we’ll see the Atlas Mountains and some villages. Our first stop will be in Ifrane ("the Moroccan Switzerland"), we’ll take a look at his famous lion and we’ll continue to Azrou to enjoy the view of the cedar woods and macaques living there. We’ll lunch in Midelt and then we’ll keep going through the Valley of Ziz. On the road to Merzouga, you’ll have a splendid view over the palm trees. Finally, we’ll do a camel trek on the dunes to reach the desert camp where you’ll have dinner and we’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber tent.

After breakfast, we’ll leave the Desert of Erg Chebbi to get into an off-road path through the Hamada (“the Black Desert”) until we arrive to Rissani, famous for its donkey parking and market. After visiting the market, we will head north to Erfoud, known for its very old fossils. We can also stop to visit the fossils workshop. Then, our day trip will end towards the impressive Gorges of Todra, a paradise for climbers. We’ll go for a walk before the road to the Valley of Dades where you will have a meal and spend the night in a hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

After breakfast, we’ll start our trip along “the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs”, since there are colossal kasbahs on both sides of the street. We’ll pass through the Valley of Dades and we’ll continue to an off-road to the rocky region, where numerous Berber villages and many nomads live in caverns. After a delicious mint tea with a local family we’ll take again the road to go to enjoy the beautiful scene of the Valley of Roses before reaching the Skoura palm groves. We’ll arrive to Ouarzazate in the evening for dinner and we’ll spend the night in a local hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

After breakfast we’ll visit Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Cinema Studios. We’ll continue until we arrive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where we’ll have lunch. This famous kasbah was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. After lunch, we’ll continue our road through the Atlas Mountains stopping to see the wonderful view of the Tizi-N-Tichka pass about 2260 meters high (7,414 ft.) from the ground. We’ll pass through some small Berber villages and waterfalls, until we reach Marrakech in the afternoon.
