Day 1

MARRAKECH

Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel/riad. Marrakech is one of the four most popular Imperial Cities of Morocco and it's also famous for its several monuments declared as a World Heritage Site, including the popular Jemaa el Fna Square. A guide will wait for you to start the visit of Mellah (the Jewish Quarter) and he will lead you through the rambling streets of the old medina to visit the famous Madrasa, the Kotoubia Minaret and one of the oldest and most importants libraries of Marrakech, the Bahia Palace and more. Finishing our tour in the Jemaa el Fna Square where many activities will send you to another era: all those jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers, jugglers, sounds, smells, flavours and colors will stimulate all five senses. Overnight in the hotel/riad.

Day 2

MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – VALLEY OF ROSES – GORGES OF DADES

After breakfast, we'll start our tour to the Gorges of Dades. On our way we'll cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters high (7,417 ft.) from the ground and then, we'll make a stop to see the beautiful landscape. We'll continue our tour crossing many nomadic Berbers who live in the local region. We'll make a stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for being an important spot where many movies were made, including “Babel”. We'll continue to Ouarzazate where we'll stop to have lunch. We'll cross the Valley of Roses to get into the Gorges of Dades, where "the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs” is next to, Diner and overnight stay in a hotel/riad (in the Valley of Roses.

Day 3

VALLEY OF DADES – GORGES TODRA – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we’ll return to the Valley of Dades to contunie to Boumalne, so we can get a direct access to Tinghir and the Gorges of Todra. We’ll walk to Gorges and afterwards we’ll departure to pass Erfoud through the Tinjdad Palm Grove, we’ll get lunch in that spot to go for a visit to Touroug too. You’ll take a break and we’ll share some free time to spend it in Erfoud so you can visit the marble and fossil production workshop. At the very end of the tour, some trekking in the azmazing dunes of Erg Chebbi in order to see the sunset and spend the night in front of to the dunes in your accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/riad.

Day 4

MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, the “Nomadic Tour” will begin! We will visit the two oases of Merzouga, the hidden tanks, the village of Khamlia (the village of the Gnaoua), the mines of Mifiss, the Desert Plateau and an amazing meeting with the Berber nomads of the desert! We’ll also visit the oasis of Tissardmine. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel to leave the 4x4 to trek in dromedaries to see the sunset spending the night in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tent.

Day 5

MERZOUGA – RISSANI – VALLEY OF ZIZ – MIDDLE ATLAS – FEZ

We’ll wake up early in the morning, to see another stunning show in the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. We’ll take our camels back to the hotel so we can enjoy a full breakfast and afterwards, we’ll go to Rissani to visit its souks known as the most authentic and traditional ones in Morocco, and the biggest ones in the south. The stores are full of craftsmen, food, spices and exotic animals. We’ll continue via Erfoud, the ancient gateway to the desert and also famous for the work of fossils. After crossing the impressive Valley of Ziz, with more than 18,000 palm trees, we’ll be reaching Midelt. Once we arrived there, we’ll make a stop for lunch and we’ll continue the way up through Ifrane (also known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of the building design). We’ll arrive Fez in the afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

VISITING FEZ

A private guide will be waiting for you to spend the day exploring the city of Fez, one of the four Imperial Cities. In Morocco is considered as the religious and cultural centre of the country. Its university, famous for the study of Arabic and Islam, is a crossing point of many Moroccan students. You’ll have time to stroll and meet its various districts, the new area or Fez el-Jdid, where you will find the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), the Ville Nouvelle (Villa Nueva) which is the French zone in the northwest of the city and of course, the Fez -Bali, the old fortified medina. You’ll be able to walk around the streets feeling transported to another era where potters, blacksmiths, craftsmen and donkeys carry with their products from all sort of sources while tourists gather within its labyrinthine alleys. This city is also famous for the tanners, you’ll be able to see how artisans work and dye their leather thanks to a medieval process with old root mixtures. Overnight stay in a hotel/riad.
