Day 1

ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH & SPA EVENING

Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel/riad.

Marrakech is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, famous for having numerous monuments declared as World Heritage Site, including its famous Jemaa el Fna Square.

A guide will wait for you to start the visit of the "Mellah" (the Jewish quarter) and will take you through the winding streets of the old medina to visit the famous Madrasa, one of the oldest libraries in Morocco; the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret and the Jemaa el Fna Square, the scene of countless outdoor activities: jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers… to turn all your senses on with their many sounds and exotic smells, flavors and colors that characterize it. In the afternoon, we’ll go to a spa to relax after the trip and get our body ready for the 8 days tour that is waiting for us.

Day 2

MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – VALLEY OF THE ROSES – GORGES OF DADES

After breakfast, we’ll start our tour of the Gorges of Dades. On the way, we’ll cross the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass —2,260 meters high (7,474 ft.) from the ground and we’ll stop to see the beautiful landscape. After that, we’ll start trekking through a path where many nomadic Berber people lives to stop in the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified town famous for the movies filmed there, such as "Babel", "Gladiator" or "Lawrence of Arabia". We’ll follow the road to Ouarzazate where will be our next stop for lunch. Our next visit will be through the Valley of the Roses ending the tour in the Gorges of Dades where the “road of a thousand kasbahs" will begin. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/riad next to the valley.

Day 3

VALLEY OF DADES – GORGES OF TODRA – MERZOUGA

After having some breakfast in the hotel, we’ll return to the valley going to Boumalne, where Tinghir and the Gorges of Todra are located. We’ll walk through the gorges and then we’ll leave that spot to reach the city of Erfoud through the Palm Grove of Tinjdad and the Palm Grove of Touroug (stop for lunch). Back to Erfoud, we’ll go for visit to see the marble and fossil production workshop and then we’ll continue along the track towards the incredible dunes of Erg Chebbi. At your arrival, we’ll trek by dromedaries to enter the immense dunes and we’ll go to the Berber campsite where we’ll stay overnight two days. In the campsite, some of the workers will be waiting to welcome us and offer some relaxing exercises of yoga while we contemplate the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 4

DESERT & YOGA (CAMPSITE)

During the next two days, we’ll be practicing yoga, meditating, relaxing and recharging ourselves from the energy coming from the Sun. We’ll feel how this waves coming from the desert which help us to connect with ourselves. The purity of the quiet desert will help us to listen to our bodies, connecting with the Earth releasing us from what we don’t want and leaving it behind. After dinner, we can meet a group of musicians and feel the vibrations of the drums around the fireplace, contemplating the immensity of the sky full of stars. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Day 5

NOMADIC TOUR AND SAND BATH

After breakfast, with our yoga practice done already in the morning, we’ll start our "Nomadic Tour". We’ll visit the the two oases of the Merzouga, the hidden tank, the village of Khamlia (Gnaoua village) where we’ll enjoy some traditional spiritual music; the Mifiss mines… We’ll visit the Berbers of the desert and the Tissardmine oasis. We’ll go to a hotel next to the dunes where we’ll spend the night. For anyone who might wish it, and depending on the time of year, you can do a sand bath, recommended and tested therapeutically for those who have problems with their bones, or health: like rheumatism, arthritis, rickets, progressive paralysis, lumbago, decalcification, asthma… Once at the hotel, we’ll have our daily yoga practice again. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6

MERZOUGA – RISSANI VALLEY OF ZIZ – MIDDLE ATLAS – FEZ

We’ll get up early in the morning to see another great show in the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. We’ll take our camels back to the hotel and after having breakfast we’ll leave the hotel to go to Rissani and make a visit to the souks. These souks they’re known as the most authentic and traditional ones of Morocco, and the biggest ones in the south. You’ll find any kind of craft, food or exotic animal. We’ll continue to Erfoud, the ancient gateway to the desert and also famous for its fossil work; crossing the impressive Valley of Ziz —with more than 18,000 palm trees— we’ll be reaching Midelt. After making a stop for lunch there, we’ll continue through our way to Ifrane —also known as the "Moroccan Switzerland" for the design of its buildings. We’ll be arriving Fez in the afternoon and then, we’ll stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

VISITING FEZ & HAMMAM EVENING

A guide will wait for us to spend the day Fez, one of the four imperial cities. In Morocco this city is considered the religious and cultural center of the country. Its university is very popular for the study of Arabic and Islam and is a meeting point for many Moroccan students. We’ll visit some neighborhoods, the new area or Fez el-Jdid, the French district, the Mellah (the Jewish quarter), the “Ville Nouvelle” (New Town) in the northwest of the city and, of course, the Fez-Bali, the old fortified medina. We’ll walk through the streets where we’ll feel transported to another era: potters, blacksmiths, artisans and donkeys loading the products while tourists walk through its labyrinthine alleys... It’s also famous for the tanners: artisans make and colored their leathers trough a medieval roots process! In the afternoon we’ll go to some Arabic baths to enjoy and relax of our very last day traveling. We will spend the night in a hotel/riad.

Day 8

FEZ – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Free time in Fez and at the agreed time, transfer to the airport.
