Day 1
ARRIVAL IN TANGIER
At your arrival, our driver will be waiting for you at the port/airport to take you to the hotel. Free time to enjoy the streets and the square. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast, we'll start our trip driving to the Riff Mountains. We’ll visit some traditional villages along the road until we arrive in Chefchaouen, "the Blue Pearl of Morocco". In this blue city we’ll walk around the village, discovering the markets, craft stores, terraces and hidden corners full of flowers and colors; like the contest of the "Patios" from Córdoba but during the whole year! Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
CHEFCHAOUEN – FEZ
In the morning, we'll travel to Fez. At the arrival, after having lunch, a local guide will be waiting for us to start a private tour. We'll visit some districts, the new medina or Fez el-Jdid, where we'll find the French quartier, or the "Ville Nouvelle" and the "Mellah" (the Jewish quartier) in the northwest. And, of course, we'll see the Fez-Bali, the old fortified medina. While walking around the streets, you'll feel like if someone teleport you to another time! Potters, craftsmen and donkeys live and work together selling and making handmade products while tourists pass through their narrow alleys! Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA
That day will be quite long for us, but it will be worth it because of its contrasts, from the Middle Atlas Mountains to the desert. On our way to Merzouga, we’ll stop in Ifrane, "the small Switzerland", to see the famous lakes. We’ll pass through Azrou to see a forest full of monkeys! We’ll walk through the Middle Atlas, passing by the village Midelt too. We’ll have lunch there and we’ll continue our way to the Lake of Errachidia. Then, we'll cross the Valley of Ziz and some more Berber villages around until we reach Erfoud, famous because of its fossils. We’ll arrive in Merzouga in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the a hotel.
Day 5
NOMADIC TOUR
After breakfast, the "Nomadic Tour" will begin! We’ll see the dunes and the oasis in the desert. Then, we’ll visit Khamlia where we’ll enjoy of a private Gnawa music concert and we’ll visit the Mifiss Mines. We’ll have a cup of tea with a nomad family and we’ll visit the Tissardmine Oasis.
In the afternoon, we’ll ride around the dunes by camels to watch the sunset and we’ll sleep in the desert next to a beautiful oasis. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional Berber tent.
Day 6
MERZOUGA – RISSANI – THE GORGES OF TODRA – THE GORGES OF DADES
After breakfast we’ll start our day visiting the Market of Rissani, one of the biggest markets in Morocco and the most famous one because of the donkey parking.
Next stop, the famous Gorges of Todra where we’ll have lunch and we’ll be able to take a break before continuing our trip to the Gorges of Dades. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7
THE VALLEY OF DADES – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE
After having breakfast, we’ll cross the Valley of Dades, habitat of several Berber villages, and we’ll keep driving in a mountain track called Amgoune, where we’ll have the chance to see some nomadic caves. We’ll stop there to visit "the Valley of Roses" and the Amridile Kasbah. Arriving to Ouarzazate, we’ll have lunch and we’ll get some free time to enjoy the city. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 8
AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where many popular movies and TV series like "Lawrence of Arabia", "Gladiator" or "Game of Thrones" were made. We’ll continue our way to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi-N-Tichka, a mountain of 2,260 meters high (7,414 ft.) from the ground. We’ll stop to see the magnificent panoramic views and we you want, to take some pictures. Overnight stay at the riad/hotel.
Day 9
VISITING MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we’ll visit some Arabic palaces and the Old Koran School for a little taste of Moroccan culture and history, the Menara´s Gardens and the Souk of Marrakech. This souk is the perfect place to learn how artisans work there. You’ll discover the beautiful tapestry, leather, exotic spices and some others specialities they make. We’ll finish our visit in the Jemma el Fna Square. In this square many Berber musicians, snake charmers, fortune-tellers, fire-eaters and story-tellers come to amuse people around. It becomes very busy at night and it’s well worth a visit! Overnight stay at the riad/hotel.
Day 10
MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA – RABAT – ASILAH
After breakfast, having left the desert behind, we’ll leave Marrakech to go to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque and the seafront of the "Corniche". Just an hour from there, there's the city of Rabat, the capital of the kingdom. There we'll visit the Hassan Tower (contemporary of the "Giralda" in Seville), the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Udaya Kasbah. We’ll have lunch before continuing our tour to the beautiful city of Asilah. Free time to visit the city and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11
ASILAH – CAVE OF HERCULES – TANGIER
After breakfast, you’ll get some free time to spend this last day enjoying a bit at the beach until we go back to Tangier. On our way back home to Tangier, we'll visit the Cave of Hercules, a beautiful geographical feature in the Atlantic Coast. Arrival at Tangier to leave at the port/airport.
